Maureen Reith makes history as the first resident to turn 100 years old in Abbeylands Seapark Care Home, in Newtownabbey.
Maureen received her special birthday card from King Charles, and said: “it (the card) is beautiful, and it is hard to describe how I feel.”
The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Neil Kelly, paid a visit to the care home, to deliver flowers and a birthday card, along with family members and other residents at Abbeylands.
Ms Reith has been at the care home since 2021.
