A Toronto Police officer is recovering after being shot while trying to arrest a suspect on Saturday night.
The officer — reportedly making an arrest while off-duty — was shot in the Bathurst-King Sts. at around 11:45 p.m.
The officer was rushed to a hospital with injuries considered to be non-life threatening.
Police arrested a 30-year-old-man and seized a firearm.
