Over 1,000 people have taken part in the Colin Pride Colour Run on the second day of Belfast Féile.

Lord Mayor Micky Murray led the large crowd as they made their way from Lagmore to Páirc Nua Chollann.

Sinn Fein MLA Danny Baker also took part in the colourful spectacle which is one of 600 events scheduled to take place as part of the festival.

“Lagmore youth project working with Féile delivered another amazing event,” he said.

“The Colin Pride Colour Run keeps getting bigger and better, truly a festival of colour.

“This is why we love Féile and west Belfast.”

The annual colour run was set up to support LGBTQ+ members by providing a family friendly event.

Féile an Phobail, the biggest community arts festival on the island of Ireland, will run until August 11 with events taking place in 50 venues across the city.
