GB News host Martin Daubney was visibly distraught live on air today after the three girls who died in the Southport stabbings have been named.

He said: “It just strikes every parent. I got home last night and squeezed my little girl. This is just ordinary beautiful children going about their daily business on a summer camp.”

The three girls were named as six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine. Five other children are still in a critical condition in hospital, while the exact conditions of three other children injured are not known.
