Two people have been taken to hospital following an incident in north Belfast.

Emergency services were called to the scene in the Cliftonville Road area at around 6pm on Saturday evening.

An NI Ambulance spokesperson has confirmed two people were taken to hospital following the incident.

“The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 18:06 following reports of an incident in the Cliftonville Road area of Belfast,” they said.

“NIAS despatched two rapid response paramedic, one advanced paramedic and two emergency crews to the incident.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were taken to RVH.”

The PSNI have been approached for comment.
