GB News reporter Sophie Reaper has shared a heartwarming story about her connection to the Olympics this year, as she reported live from Paris.
Sophie explained: “I just want to start by indulging myself a little bit. The Olympics is really important to me because back in the good old days, I used to be into athletics.
“So to show you, I used to be a member of Bolton Harriers. “
Holding up her old uniform, she added: “This is the vest I used to wear. And the reason I show you that is because we’re joined now by a very, very special guest, my former teammate, who would have also worn this vest, Hannah Kelly.
“She is going to be competing in the Athletics in the women’s four by 400 meter relay.”
