Four men face charges and a fifth is still sought in connection with a carjacking earlier this month in North York.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a vehicle theft in the area of Finch Ave. W. and Jane St. around 3:45 a.m. on July 8 after it was alleged that the victim and a friend were travelling in the victim’s vehicle when they picked up two men.

It’s further alleged as they continued driving, one of the men produced a firearm, pointed it at the victim’s head and made a demand for the keys.

Police executed two search warrants on July 24 and at one location, one carjacking suspect and three other males were taken into custody.

It’s further alleged that at the time of the searches, officers recovered two handguns, a replica handgun, a quantity of ammunition, a quantity of fentanyl and other items of evidentiary value related to the investigation.

Leshawn Biggart, 21, of Toronto, is charged with 24 robbery, weapons and drugs-related offences.

Tafari Greene, 23, of Toronto, is charged with 16 mostly firearms and drug-related offences as well as two charged for failure to comply with a release order.

Jason Seymour, 18, of Toronto, is charged with 17 firearm and drug-related offences as well as two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

Darnell Vassal, 22, of Toronto, is charged with 12 firearm and drug-related offences.

Investigators have identified a second suspect in the carjacking, but they are still trying to locate him.

Nathan Glenn Osman, 19, of Toronto, is wanted for robbery while armed with a firearm, disguise with intent and failure to comply with release order.
