York Regional Police are seeking suspects and witnesses after a firearm was discharged and an arson occurred at the same Markham home three days apart.

Cops said they responded to a report of shots being fired at a residence in the area of Windfields Rd. and Beckenridge Dr. around 3:40 a.m. on Thursday.

Video from the area shows a four-door white sedan approach the home and a suspect in the rear seat fires several shots before fleeing.

No one was injured.

Authorities said that on Sunday at about 1:45 a.m., they were called to the same address for a report of a vehicle on fire.

Video surveillance shows a grey SUV in the area before a suspect approaches a parked vehicle in the driveway and pours a liquid on it before setting a fire.

The suspect vehicles are described as a white four-door with black rims and a grey SUV with roof racks. A male suspect was wearing a black Adidas hooded sweater with white markings, a black face mask and red gloves.

Investigators believe the incidents were targeted.

Meanwhile, York police are also seeking suspects and witnesses after shots were fired at a Richmond Hill home Friday at about 1 a.m.

Cops said the complainant told them someone fired shots at his house in the Elm Ave.-Springbrook Dr. area. When officers arrived, they found bullet casings on and around the driveway and damage to several walls and ceilings within the home.

Three people were in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured.

Video from the area shows two suspects approach the area on foot, fire several rounds and then run away before a dark-coloured SUV with tinted windows leaves the area.
