Streets of Belfast: Fountain St named for providing vital service to the people of the town

Once a busy thoroughfare of vital importance to the town of Belfast; these days it’s a pedestrianised zone where delivery drivers jockey for position most mornings of the week, and where the thunderous tones of an evangelical preacher can often be heard amongst the array of talented buskers that make up Fountain Street’s unique character.
