The results of the 2024 National GP Survey have been released. It is an independent survey run by IPSOS which sends surveys by post at the start of the year.
Leap Valley Medical Centre in Emersons Green remains the worst rated GP surgery for overall patient experience. We have listed the 10 worst rated GP surgeries in the Greater Bristol region as per the question: ‘Overall, how would you describe your experience of your GP practice?’

Of the 110 respondents, 51% of patients found the practice good. 18% found their overall experience to be very poor.

Downend Health Group has two surgeries in Downend. Of 92 respondents, 54% of patients found their overall experience to be good and 12% found it to be very poor.

Out of 103 respondents, 56% rated their overall experience as good. 10% of patients said their overall experience was very poor.
Bradley Stoke Surgery, Bradley Stoke
121 people responded to the survey, of which 56% said they had a good experience, and 10% said their overall experience was very poor.
Charlotte Keel Medical Practice, Easton
Out of 111 respondents, 57% rated their experience as good and 5% rated their experience as very poor.
Armada Family Practice, Whitchurch
59% of respondents, of which there were 126, and 7% found their overall experience to be very poor.
Birchwood Medical Practice, Brislington
Out of 111 respondents, 60% said their overall experience was good and 15% said their experience was very poor.
Montpelier Health Centre, Montpelier
130 responded to the survey. A total of 63% found their experience to be good and 5% found it very poor.
Bedminster Family Practice
Out of 118 patient respondents, 65% found their experience good and 3% rated it as very poor.
