“We’re in the last few minutes of extra time” Secretary of State speaking about Casement Park

Secretary of State Hilary Benn has admitted the Government’s focus on Casement Park has been allowed to “drift”. He said hopes of staging the Euros in Belfast in four years’ time were “in the last few minutes of extra time”. Speaking on a visit to Londonderry, he said they were “grappling” with a situation inherited from the previous Conservative government.
