York Regional Police are seeking suspects, a vehicle and witnesses after shots were fired at a home in East Gwillimbury on Saturday at about 5:30 a.m.

The complainant told police she had just returned home at 8 a.m. when she discovered a single bullet hole in a bedroom window and officers found a bullet casing laying on the roadway at Cyprus Glen and Charlotte Abby Dr.

No one was injured.

Officers determined unknown suspects attended the area in a grey or blue newer-model Range Rover SUV and fired multiple rounds at the residence from within the vehicle.

They also believe the incident was targeted.

Investigators are seeking any video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video on the roadways at that time.

VICTIM STABLE AFTER BRAMPTON SHOOTING

A man was in critical condition before being upgraded to stable after being shot in front of a home in the Inder Heights Cres. area of Brampton at about 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Peel Regional Police.

Authorities said the suspects fled in a vehicle and the victim was taken to a hospital, where his condition was eventually upgraded to non-life-threatening.

MURDER CHARGE IN NEWMARKET STABBING

York Regional Police have charged Mckenzie Gill, 30, of Toronto, with second-degree murder following the stabbing death of a male — now identified as Blake Bibby, 26, of Newmarket — on Sunday at about 10:30 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of an injured male at an apartment complex in the Main St.-Millard Ave. area of Newmarket and found a male who had been stabbed. He was sent to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead,

Gill was charged on Tuesday and police said the accused and the victim were known to each other.

TEENS CHARGED AFTER JEWEL HEIST

Toronto Police have charged a man and a woman in connection with a Monday jewelry store robbery in the Dundas St. W.-The East Mall area.

Four suspects allegedly travelling in a stolen vehicle attended a mall at about 5 p.m. with three wearing masks to disguise their identities as they entered a jewelry store.

One suspect allegedly produced a hammer and began smashing glass display cases, taking jewelry and fleeing the area in the stolen vehicle

Shortly afterward, officers found the stolen vehicle in the Eglinton Ave. W.-The East Mall area and it began driving erratically until it lost control and rolled onto its side.

Police took two people from the vehicle into custody and officers allegedly recovered some of the stolen jewelry and other items of evidentiary value related to the investigation.

Mohammad Wahedi, 18, of Toronto, faces six charges and Chris Aimable, 18, of Mississauga, faces four charges. There was no further description of the two outstanding suspects.

EMPLOYEE STRUCK AFTER POKEMON CARDS STOLEN

Durham Regional Police said Mark Morgan, 41, of no fixed address, has been charged with theft under $5,000 after a female retail employee was struck in the head following a July 11 robbery in Oshawa.

A suspect allegedly entered a G.A.M.E.S. store at 1180 Simcoe St. N. at about 2 p.m. and stole three Pokemon game cards.

An employee allegedly chased the suspect when he fled the store, but was struck with a hard object and taken to a hospital.
