Prince William’s appearance at Euro 2024 in Germany is in doubt as the Royal Family is bracing for a diary clash this weekend.

The Prince of Wales is not expected to attend England’s semi-final clash against The Netherlands this evening.

Willian flew to Germany to watch Gareth Southgate’s team defeat Switzerland on penalties after a tense 1-1 draw.

He was photographed with England players including Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bukayo Saka after the match.

But, according to sources, the royal will not be in attendance for tonight’s game.

William is the President of the Football Association and regularly attends England matches.

The royal was pictured watching England’s second game of Euro 2024 against Denmark last month.

William was seen talking to the King of Denmark at the match as the teams played out a 1-1 draw.

The Prince of Wales missed England’s final group stage game against Slovenia as he was supporting King Charles during the State Visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan.

The President of the FA also missed England’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Slovakia in the extra time last Sunday.

It comes as the Royal Family is facing a potential diary clash if England defeat The Netherlands tonight.

William is expected to fly to Germany to watch England if they make it to Sunday’s final.

However, this will mean the Prince of Wales will be unable to stand in for his wife at Wimbledon.

However, the princess has only made one public appearance in 2024 at Trooping the Colour last month.

Kate was diagnosed with cancer this year and has stepped back from all royal duties as she focuses on her health.

The Palace and Wimbledon have not confirmed whether Kate will attend Wimbledon this weekend but a decision is expected on Saturday morning.

If Kate or William cannot present the trophies at Wimbledon then another member of the Royal Family may step in to perform the role.
