A young mother has died following a collision in Aghadowey at the weekend.
Louisa Jane Crawford (26) was the driver of a black BMW which collided with a lorry on the Glenkeen Road at around 3.20am on Saturday morning (June 8).
At the time, police said she was taken to hospital and was in a critical condition.
The mum-of-one was from the Garvagh area, and tributes have been pouring in online since her death
One friend said that they were “completely lost for words” and described Ms Crawford as “such a loving, caring person that would do anything for anyone”.
“You always smiled and made everyone’s day so much better, you will be missed by so many and I will cherish every memory we had and all the laughs – until we meet again,” they added.
Officers investigating the circumstances of the crash are asking for witnesses and anyone who may have captured dashcam or other footage, to please get in touch with the Collision Investigation Unit by calling 101, quoting reference 206 08/06/24.
