The QEW is closed in both directions for a stretch in Mississauga Tuesday morning due to a crash.
Peel Regional Police say they received a call around 8 a.m. that a transport truck had hit a bridge at North Service Rd./Cawthra Rd.
No injuries were reported.
The QEW and South Service Road are shutdown for both east and west traffic between Cawthra and Dixie Rds. due to “dangerous condition,” the cleanup and investigation. Police also said that “North Service Rd. closed for westbound traffic at Stanfield Rd rerouted.”
It’s expected to last a minimum of five hours, police said.
Ontario Provincial Police are assisting Peel cops with the road closures.
